Fake bake

So now everyone is in a frenzy about tanning beds and how they are just as dangerous as arsenic (cigarettes, pretty much), Hep B & according to Perez, chimney sweeping. Obviously anyone that's ever tanned before knows there are risks that come along with it such as skin cancer, eye cancer, melanoma, etc. But tanning has become a habit for most people just as much as smoking cigarettes has for others. I enjoy my 15 minutes in a tanning bed a couple times a week and unfortunately, these 'recent findings' aren't going to stop me. Is that wrong? Who knows. I wouldn't dare smoke a single cigarette but tanning to me just doesn't seem THAT bad. What's the difference if I go in a tanning bed for a couple minutes 3 times a week or if I'm baking my skin outside on the beach or at the pool? It's all UVA/UVB and it's all damaging. Oh well. We're all gonna die of something, might as well be from doing something you enjoy LOL! What's your take?
